Day 1 – 2 Boarding to
Melbourne:
After transfer to your
hotel you can relax at
your room or you can go
out and start to
discover the city
centre, walking distance
from your hotel.
Day 3 Melbourne:
After breakfast at your
hotel you'll join
Melbourne city sight
tour. View examples of
Melbourne architectural
splendour including St.
Pauls Cathedral and the
Princess and Regent
Theatres. See the Royal
Exhibition Buildings and
Federation Square, and
stroll around
Melbourne’s Royal
Botanic Gardens. View
the Fitzroy Gardens and
see Captain Cook’s
Cottage (entry at own
expense). See the
bustling Queen Victoria
Market and Albert Park,
home to the Australian
Grand Prix, visit the
Shrine of Remembrance
and see the Southbank
waterfront precinct.
Cross the Bolte Bridge
for great city views.
Tour concludes at
approximately 12.00pm at
Federation Square.
Day 4 Melbourne:
After breakfast at your
hotel a vine day will
start for you. A
Vinetrekker vehicle will
pick you up from your
hotel to commence a
Mornington Peninsula
Explorer day tour.
Travel along the coast
past Melbourne’s
beachside suburbs and
head inland to the first
stop, Tanglewood Estate
at Merricks North.
Tanglewood is a small
family owned and
operated winery which
covers 7 acres with the
principal varieties
grown being Riesling,
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
and Cabernet Sauvignon.
A short drive away is
the Willow Creek
Vineyard established in
1989. The vineyard is
set on 28 acres and
produces consistently
good wines. Enjoy lunch
at Salix Restaurant
overlooking the vineyard
before arriving at
Mornington Peninsula
Chocolates at Merricks
(open daily except
Tuesday and Wednesday).
This is a place where
food and art become one.
On the journey home, see
the Melbourne city
skyline and Port Phillip
Bay from Arthurs Seat
lookout, 305 metres
high. For the garden
lovers, there is the
option of visiting the
Heronswood Gardens at
Dromana. Perched on a
high point that
overlooks Port Phillip
Bay, this breathtaking
historic property
features over 1.6
hectares of formal
gardens surrounding an
historic bluestone
building constructed in
1871. When tour
concludes you'll be
dropped off the hotel.
The tour finishes
approximately after 6pm
so after that you can go
to Brunswick to have
dinner in one of the
many international
restaurants or just stay
at hotel and relax.
Day
5 Melbourne:
After breakfast at your
hotel you'll be picked
up from your hotel for
your transfer to the
departure point of your
tour. At 1.15pm join
your coach to commence
your afternoon and
evening Phillip Island
Tour. Journey south-east
and visit Maru Koala and
Animal Park which has a
large number of exhibits
including Kangaroos,
wallabies, dingoes,
Tasmanian devil, emus
and native Australian
birds. Encounter koalas
in their natural habitat
at the Koala
Conservation Centre and
stroll along elevated
boardwalks to spot
koalas in the trees.
Time is allowed to
purchase dinner (own
expense). View
spectacular coastal
scenery at the Nobbies,
two rocky outcrops
abundant in marine life.
From the walkways you
may be able to catch a
glimpse of Australia’s
largest population of
fur seals living along
the coastline. Browse
through the Phillip
Island Visitors
Information Centre and
learn about the little
penguins and life on
this island. Enjoy the
Penguin Parade from a
separate viewing
platform and boardwalk
which is limited to 190
people per night.
Rangers are on hand to
provide interpretation
of the world’s smallest
penguins and their
fascinating lives. Watch
as the Little Penguins
battle the surf and make
their way to their dune
burrows, learn of the
environmental and
conservation methods
that are initiated to
ensure the wildlife and
vulnerable geology of
Phillip Island remains
protected. See the
Little Penguins up close
as they return to their
nests to greet their
young families. Tour
concludes after 9.30pm
and hotel drop offs will
commence.
Day
6 Melbourne:
After breakfast at your
hotel you'll be picked
you up from hotel for
Yarra Valley Wine
Experience Tour with an
experienced wine tour
driver/guide. Transfer
to Yering Station
vineyards and start the
day by being shown how
to swirl, sniff and
slurp, then you’ll be
ready to taste some of
Yering Station’s award
winning classic
Australian wines. Travel
to Balgownie Estate, one
of the most stylish
venues in the Yarra
Valley with wines to
match, and enjoy lunch
with a glass of
Balgownie Estate wine to
compliment your meal.
After lunch travel to
Yering Farm Vineyards.
Experience wines made
with traditional wine
making methods in their
cellar door which
showcases antique copper
wine making tools used
by pioneer winemakers
over a century ago. A
fantastic environment to
enjoy superb wines. Next
visit is French
Champagne company Moet &
Chandon's Australian
production house -
Domaine Chandon, the
perfect way to finish
the day with a guided
tour through the winery
which shows how the wine
is made, followed by a
relaxing glass of
Australia's best bubbly
with tasty light
platters and a view that
will leave you in awe.
Tour concludes at your
pick up point, at
approximately 5.00pm.
After your tour you can
stay at your hotel or go
out to discover
Melbourne's rooftop
life.
Day
7 Melbourne:
After breakfast at your
hotel enjoy a full day
at leisure or you may
want to take optional
tours. You can go to the
beaches and ejoy with a
coffe in one of the
seaside coffes or just
relax at your hotel.

8 – 9 Boarding from
Melbourne:
After breakfast at your
hotel you can wait for
your transfer at the
hotel or go for a coffe
at the coffe shops near
the Yarra River.
